What do you want from a Citroen SM video?

I have one evening with a lovely 1973 Citroen SM to make a video. What should it have? Engine sounds? Car history? Driving impressions? I don’t know if I’ll be able to drive it but the owner could certainly answer any questions about what it’s like behind the wheel.

I already know that I want to get some gopro action of that crazy suspension going up and down as the car drives along. My videos are usually only about 2:30 long but I’ll fit in all your requests if I can. What do you want to see from this video?

What is it’s turning radius like? I have a feeling it’s either extremely good, or cruise ship like.

I have never once thought abou that. I’ll find out! We do a lot of U-turns while filming on narrow roads.

A given, but how reliable IS the suspension? Has he ever had issues with maintenance or trouble? How often does he use his car?

All good questions. All I can answer right know is that he uses it frequently in good weather but never in the rain/snow. I’ve even seen it parked in a mall parking lot once!

I want to see the view from a GoPro mounted somewhere along the outside while driving over a bunch of bumps, train tracks, potholes... basically, the suspension dampening in action.

You obviously have to get it from the suspension down to full rise. It’s like a warrior getting ready for battle. I love these cars. When I had money a while back I was scouring ads constantly in search of one.
